Overview Logistics Automation Solutions Group Product Manager is responsible for defining and executing the Logistics Solutions portfolio. Solutions are based on SIS products (barcode readers and dimensioner) with the integration of 3rd party devices (e.g. dynamic scale, cameras) and accessories (e.g. mechanical frame) to create a turn-key system (hardware, software, accessories) addressing identification, measurement and tracking along the logistics supply chain for markets such as E-commerce and Retail, Intralogistics, Parcel & Postal, and Airport Baggage Handling. Responsibilities Business & Commercial Strategy: Set pricing and positioning of the owned Solutions portfolio. Monitor revenues, margins, and KPIs; lead corrective action plans to address underperformance. Ensure strategies are commercially coherent and aligned with LA business goals. Solutions Lifecycle Governance: Craft a clear, compelling vision that aligns with company goals and customer needs. Oversee the full solutions lifecycle from concept to end-of-life (EOL), ensuring accountability and milestone discipline. Own major deliverables and business cases before NPD (New Product Development) gate reviews. Manage 3rd party products scouting that could contribute to Solutions creation. Market & Competitive Intelligence Leadership: Monitor market trends, applications, customer behavior, emerging disruptions, and competitor activity. Collect the Voice-of-the-Customer by conducting research, interviews, and data analysis to understand pain points and needs. Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure Roadmaps are aligned. GTM Strategy Oversight & Optimization: Define and manage Solution GTM strategies including launch plans, pricing, positioning, and sales enablement. Analyze funnel data, sales performance, and feedback to resolve systemic GTM issues; lead cross-functional GTM reviews to improve conversion and sales efficiency. Cross-Functional: Act as a trusted escalation point for resolving cross-functional challenges affecting solutions across their life cycle. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. Languages: Italian or English (native or proficient). Role requires international interactions between Italian HQ and worldwide Sales teams. Experience: 5 years in Logistics Automation in Sales, Product Marketing, or Service. Systems and Tools: Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, MS Dynamics and CRM tools. Skills Technical: Marketing and Financial Data Analysis (Sales, Market, P&L); high-level understanding of Automated Solutions. Soft: Multidisciplinary teamwork, networking, balancing forward-looking innovation with day-to-day targets.
