Thanks to NEXTCHEM’s extensive know‑how of nitrogen, hydrogen, carbon capture, fuels, chemicals and polymers, you’ll be part of a dynamic team dedicated driving innovation and sustainability in the energy transition sector. /p pThe candidate will become part of the NX Engineering District of Catania having the opportunity to work on innovative and novel technologies to fully enable the energy transition, click on the link for further information: NX engineering district | NextChem /p pThe Recruitment process is managed by Key2People, a partner of NEXTCHEM. /p h3Proprietary Equipment Mechanical Package Senior Engineer /h3 pThe Proprietary Equipment Mechanical and Package Senior Engineer is assigned to the project to develop to check and to issue documents and deliverables, in accordance with the quality requirements and in compliance with the schedule, taking the lead together with the HoD of all the technical aspects. /p h3Main Activities Responsibilities /h3 pFollowing the guidelines of the Responsible, the Proprietary Equipment Mechanical and Package Senior Engineer has the following main responsibilities: /p ul liLead and ensure together with PEQ PM/HoD the quality of the generated deliverables and their compliance with the contractual requirements and company standards, procedures and work instructions; /li liPrepare and discuss with Project Team (Project Manager and/or Project Engineering Manager) and Engineering Head of Department the execution strategy of the project (including the project schedule) and assure its application throughout the entire project life; /li liAssure the coordination of the activities of the discipline regardless the location and distribution of the engineering centers guaranteeing the consistency of the documents with the contract, the respect of the time schedule, the implementation of the contract requirements, the compliance of the assigned budget (both cost and man‑hours) and the quality of the deliverables under the guidance of the Project Manager/HoD and cooperating with the other Project Engineers; /li liInteract with Client representatives and Vendors for all the technical topics impacting on the project both in time and costs; /li liIssuing of technical documents (calculations and drawings); /li liIssue the Material Requisitions, the technical tabulation of the Vendor’s offers; /li liExecute the follow up of the vendors during the bidding stage and during the execution of the projects; /li liCheck the sub vendors’ documents, as requested by the Responsible, in agreement with the Project Team; /li liGuarantee assistance to the inspection and construction departments upon request as per project needs; /li liParticipate during the bidding stage to the issue of technical proposals; /li liParticipate to the development of new solutions for the Proprietary equipments; /li liParticipate to the technical training of competence and exchange experience with colleagues of the Group; /li liConduct technical training as per department and Company needs and exchange experience with colleagues of the entire Tecnimont Group for new Design techniques; /li liKeep themselves updated about the technical specific improvement of the discipline. /li /ul h3Competences /h3 ul liExperience specifically related to different types of static equipment for Petrochemical or Oleochemical applications (Pressure Vessels, ST Heat Exchangers, Air Coolers, Filters, Plate Heat Exchangers, Reactors); /li liAbility to review client specifications standards, prepare customized equipment supply and design specifications, prepare equipment inquiry/purchase requisitions; /li liCompetence in preparing equipment mechanical data sheets by the use of 2D Cad softwares, and preliminary pressure equipment calculation design softwares (Compress‑3D) technical bid evaluations; /li liCompetences in mechanical/structural drawings review; /li liCompetences in materials ASTM; /li liGeneral competences in rotating equipments (Fans/motors); /li liGeneral competences in heat exchange and refractory calculation (Symutherm preferred) /li liReview of vendor engineering drawings, calculations, technical documents, and interface with other disciplines and departments; /li liKnowledge of API, ASME, ANSI, PED Directive, TEMA, EN and other process industry codes and standards is necessary; /li liAbility to produce accurate project deliverables and maintain project schedules and man hour budgets; /li /ul h3Required Skills Qualifications /h3 ul liDegree in Mechanical Engineering (3+2) /li li+5 years of experience in the same position /li liFuent English speaker and writer /li liWilling to travel for work /li liAbility to adapt in a fast‑paced environment and multidisciplinary context /li liAdaptivity to different disciplines (Thermal exchange, static equipment, rotating, package equipments) /li /ul h3Job Location: /h3 pCatania, Italy /p pSi prega di inviare le candidature al seguente indirizzo di posta elettronica: /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
