For this iconic hotel, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Sommelier to join our team.
The ideal candidate is willing to provide authentic, experiences in a world-renowned destination to our guests, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community.
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, he/she will have experience working in luxury restaurant.
The position is based in Porto Cervo, Costa Smeralda, Sardinia and the contract is permanent and tempo pieno.
You must possess the legal right to work in Italy/EU.
DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES
Anticipate guests needs, providing an excellent and personalized guest experience according to our service standards;
Develop special events about wine;
Inventory and requisitions: assist in monitoring stock levels and ordering replacement deliveries.
Avoid any waste and capable to control beverage margins;
Compliance with health and safety regulations.
To maintain the appropriate levels of beverage stocks by monitoring purchases and sales, ensuring professional, efficient and accurate service of all types of beverages, but with a focus on wines, in order to completely satisfy our guests during their meal experience.
Requirements:
We are looking for genuinely enthusiastic personality, professional with the highest standard of presentation and ability to work as part of a team.
This is a fast-paced environment that suits a friendly and outgoing personality.
You will have:
Previous experience in similar and/or related fields in a 5* Hotel.
At least 2 years experience at same level.
Fluent English and additional languages desirable
Sommelier Association membership degree appreciated (AIS or WSET)
