A Unique opportunity to join our Sales Team as an Account Director.
We are looking for a talented sale enthusiastic with a strong MICE, Corporate and to further develop our key feeder markets for Armani Hotel Milano.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Increase client base in all segments mainly in Italy, UK and Key European Countries through consistent sales and marketing activities to generate and boost revenues for the hotel.
* Collaborate with the appropriate Department in respect of group’s special arrangements.
* Qualify group business to generate rooms and catering revenue to impact RevPar performance.
* Collaborate with DOSM to a corporate rate strategy for local accounts and RFP’s for volume accounts.
* Create and execute account plans for assigned market territory to ensure maximum revenue and budgeted targets are achieved.
* Achieve monthly targets as set by DOSM based on Monthly production report of live accounts and other specific targets as laid out by DOSM in line with hotel’s overall budget.
* Track and focus on conversion to ensure hotel revenue objectives are impacted and achieved.
* Understand and maximize the utilization of all automated sales and reservations systems (Opera) involved with group business.
* Participate in sales & revenue meetings and strategy meetings as required.
* Respond and maintain effective correspondence with all potential and existing clients.
* Produce and execute quarterly and annual action plans.
* Participation and contribution to annual Marketing Plan including proposing and managing territory sales expenses and travel budgets.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERTISE:
* Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in Europe.
* Applicants are required to have at least three to five years in a Sales Manager role or Sales Cluster experience.
* Excellent negotiation skills and strong decision-making abilities.
* Creative and innovative approach to sales activities.
* Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English (and Italian preferred).
* Working computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Opera.

This position is based at the Armani Hotel Milano and the contract is fixed term.
The candidate must have a flexible schedule and must possess the legal right to work in Italy. Must be fluent in Italian and in English.
