Sales Manager - Italy - Nutraceutical Ingredients
Location : Italy (Remote)
Salary range : 70-90K / Annum
Responsibilities :
* Develop and execute the annual sales budget for the territory, ensuring achievement of sales volume and revenue targets.
* Provide commercial sales leadership and strategic initiatives for Italy Region and EU, reporting to the Director of Sales.
* Maintain and expand the customer base through regular visits and proactive engagement.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, growing the customer portfolio by acquiring reputable clients and maximizing opportunities with existing customers.
* Monitor sales performance and variances, ensuring alignment with financial and performance objectives.
* Deliver accurate sales forecasts and strategic plans based on data analysis and market trends.
* Develop in-depth knowledge of the company’s product portfolio, including specifications and scientific documentation.
* Handle customer complaints and technical issues, coordinating with the Tech Service team for effective resolution.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align regional activities with company objectives.
* Work with the accounting team to manage receivables and assist in collections as needed.
* Ensure accurate and up-to-date CRM documentation for all business opportunities, adhering to company policies.
* Prepare and analyze MIS reports, implementing action plans to achieve territory sales targets efficiently.
Requirements
* Education : Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.S.) required; MBA / PGDM in Sales & Marketing preferred.
* Experience : Minimum 5 years in B2B sales, with strong relationships in the Nutraceutical (Ingredients).
* Technical Skills : Proficient in MS Office, CRM software (HubSpot preferred), and other business tools.
* Core Sales Skills : Expertise in planning, forecasting, negotiation, sales process management, and market mapping.
* Communication : Excellent written and spoken English; Spanish fluency is a plus.
* Interpersonal Skills : Strong customer relationship management and ability to work independently under pressure.
* Compliance : Must pass background checks as required.
* Travel : Willingness to travel (30%) within the Italy and EU for customer meetings.
