What will your activities be?The System Engineer is part of the engineering organization, reporting directly to the discipline coordinator. They serve as the technical contact within the team/organization for all technical aspects related to project execution.As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing system auxiliaries for Steam Turbine driven Compressor and Generator applications, Electric Motors, and Turboexpanders. The System Engineer will support the customer technical contact throughout the engineering project, from customer specifications to as-built documentation.Main Responsibilities of the System EngineerEnsure drafting consistency with inputs, completeness relative to customer requirements and standards, and timely documentation delivery, including main documents such as PIDs, utility consumption lists, and electrical load lists.Selection of main items (control and on/off valves, boosters, heaters, filters) according to customer requirements and standards.Basic RequirementsMaster’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or equivalent)English proficiency (minimum B1 level)Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD or similarAbility to manage and oversee multiple projects and prioritiesAdditional Skills/PreferencesTeamworking and problem-solving attitudeExperience working within an engineering organization or environmentAbility to work under pressureProficiency in Microsoft OfficeBasic knowledge in systems calculation (e.g., sizing of orifices, PCVs, PSVs, control valves, filters, heaters) and ability to develop predictive models (Matlab/Simulink, FlowMaster, Hysis)Basic knowledge of package integration focusing on mechanical and instrument disciplines: piping class, material selection, instrument selection and installationBasic knowledge of international standards (API 614, API 692)Job location: FlorenceThe contract and contractual placement will be commensurate with your experience.
