Business Unit: MEIS – Industrial CORE – Business

MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions operates as a business unit of Element Solutions Inc (NYSE: ESI). Element Solutions Inc is a leading specialty chemicals company whose businesses supply a broad range of solutions that enhance the products people use every day.

MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions is a global supplier of industrial metal and plastic finishing chemistries. We design and manufacture chemical systems that protect and decorate surfaces. Our high‑performance functional coatings improve resistance to wear and tear, such as hard chrome plating of shock absorbers for cars or corrosion resistance for appliance parts. Our decorative performance coatings apply finishes for parts in various end markets such as automotive interiors or jewelry surfaces. As part of our sustainable solutions platform, we also provide chemistry and equipment for turnkey wastewater treatment and recycle & reuse solutions. Our industrial customer base is highly diverse and includes customers in the following end markets: appliances and electronics equipment; automotive parts; industrial parts; plumbing goods; construction equipment and transportation equipment.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a permanent, full‑time Account Manager to work primarily in the Northern Italy area. The Account Manager will support the Business Manager in operational areas, providing the best technical and service solutions while developing long‑term partnerships.

Location: San Martino di Trecate (NO), Italy.

What will you be doing?

- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters, including technical support.
- Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting client relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
- Prepare reports on account status.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
- Identify new prospects in the territory and opportunities within existing accounts using an ATLAS (Salesforce) driven approach and structure.

Who are You?

Minimum qualification requirement: Diploma of Chemistry.

This is an outside sales position. Travel is required.

A strong verbal and written communication skill in English is required.

Good knowledge of office packages is preferred.

What competencies will you need?

- Experience in a similar technical or sales role, ideally with the industrial chemical manufacturing product range. Technical experience with an applicator is also a good reference.
- Strong ability to build relationships and leverage customer and internal relationships.
- Professional, positive attitude and a good team player.
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.

We are Offering

You will be employed with the National Contract of Chemists (CCNL Chimico) with the possibility to subscribe to the related Health and Pension funds (FASCHIM and FONCHIM).

Revenue: competitive base salary, performance related premio scheme, and yearly welfare plan.

Benefits: company car, mobile phone, laptop computer, and access to the company canteen.

Working time: 38 hours/week. Mon–Thu 8:30–12:30, 13:30–17:30; Fri 8:30–12:30, 13:30–15:30.
