Ph3Responsibilities: /h3 ul liAchieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team. /li liDesigning and implementing an Area Tender plan. /li liDesigning and implementing an Area sales/commercial plan aligned with the National, EMEA and Corporate strategy. /li liObjectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives. /li liDesigning and implementing a specific Team development plan. /li /ul h3Job brief /h3 pWe are looking for an experienced bArea Manager /b to organize and oversee the operations of a number of Product Specialists in the reference Area. /p pYou will assume responsibility for the overall success of the Area by supporting the strategy execution, targets setting, supervising PS, developing the Team and ensuring they are performing aligned or above expectations. /p pEffective area managers are skilled in managing diverse operations from a distance. They have a strategic mindset and are excellent leaders. Excellent abilities in Tender preparation, stakeholder influence and financial analysis and operations planning are also essential for the role. /p pThe goal is to ensure that the Area will meet and exceed expectations of business development and efficiency. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liContribute to the design fruitful business development strategies to ensure long-term success; /li liPrepare tenders, influence key stakeholders, set standards and objectives for different Regions and market dynamics included into the Area; /li liOptimize and oversee operations to ensure high productivity and efficiency; /li liLead a team of PS towards effective collaboration and attainment of goals; /li liEmpower strong cross-cooperation between sales team and other functions; /li liUndertake sound financial management to ensure Areas are profitable and stay within budget; /li liEnsure compliance with company’s policies and operational guidelines; /li liDeal with problems (and gaps) by providing creative and practical analysis, solutions and related action plan; /li liEvaluate performance using key metrics and address issues to improve it; /li liPerform capability assessment, develop and execute a full development plan for the Sales Team, including specific IDP for talent. /li liReport to the Sales Director on progress and issues, proposing recovery and mitigation plans where applicable. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liProven (+5y) experience as area manager or similar managerial sales role /li liKnowledge of Italian (Regional) Market and Tender dynamics (stakeholders) /li liKnowledge of performance evaluation metrics and principles /li liSound understanding of optimization of operations and standards for success /li liWorking knowledge of CRM/ERP software /li liExceptional communication and interpersonal abilities /li liExcellent organizational and leadership abilities /li liStrong business acumen with a strategic orientation /li liExcellent problem-solving abilities /li liBSc/BA in business administration, pharma management or similar field /li liGood knowledge of main Office software (in particular Power Point and Excel) /li liPrior experience in Medical Device/ Pharmaceutical business preferred /li liItalian and English proficiency (written/ oral) /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
