Purpose of the job

In the framework of our Sales Department, we are looking for 1 Indoor Sales Agent for our Rome site that, in the organization, will report to the Business Development Manager. The purpose of the job is to provide quality, pro-active commercial services to a portfolio of key Corporate and Agency accounts and to the team of Air France KLM Account Managers who manage their accounts, ensuring an efficient office based links for all clients. By providing this support, the Indoor Sales Agent enables the salesforce to devote more time to developing the business opportunities in the field. The Indoor Sales Agent also assists the Business Development Manager on an ad-hoc basis as required by providing certain office based commercial and administrative duties. He/She actively contributes to reach the sales targets and to develop the group turnover, with a specific focus on high yield sales and customers, in cooperation with the Account Managers and the other departments involved colleagues, and strenghten the market penetration in a very competitive commercial context.


Key responsibilities

Assist customers in the commercial activity management:

* Waiting list management for high yield booking classes in accordance with internal procedures
* Assist high yield passengers by sending email to the services involved: departure, transit and arrival airports, crew members, for a \"tailor-made\" service
* Organizes upgrades, Lounges access, Meet and Assist and Excess Baggage when required
* Grant commercial gestures when required
* Technical and commercial support: in case of discrepancies in quotations made by central services; in case of corporate fares; in case of issuing matters; Commercial Support for Call Centre
* Acts as entry point for commercial sensitive Refunds/ADMs, ensuring fast, effective resolution, liaising with Account Managers, Sales Director and the Accounting team; manages the requests of information coming from the travel agencies after \"latency\" period, making deepened enquiries on the subject
* Acts as point of entry for commercial sensitive claims, ensuring fast and effective resolution
* Ensure the incoming calls and email queries are answered efficiently and in a timely manner
* Accompany Account Managers on occasional client's visits for additional support and to promote Air France KLM services
* Attend and/or assists Account Managers in preparing workshops, visit hub and client visits when his/her participation is required
* Search leads and qualified prospects in cooperation with the Blue Biz Coordinator and Account Managers
* Evaluates business or customer focus opportunities
* Assists Business Development Manager with certain ad-hoc office-based administration functions
* Performs outgoing calls in a specific selected area towards a list of travel agencies not followed by Account Managers, and acting as a sales representative, with the aim to increase its flown revenue and, in general, the partnership.


Job Requirements: knowledge, learned disciplines, experience

* Fares and ticketing
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook);
* AMADEUS
* Fluent in oral and written Italian and English; French can be an added value
* Salesforce
* COMFLEX tool
* Qlikview
* Altea DC
* DAFI


The following product and services knowledge would represent an advantage:

* Knowledge of the Air France KLM & Partners product and services
* Knowledge of AF-KL passenger handling process
* Knowledge of Flying Blue and Blue Biz programs


Contract type: 1 year fixed term
