Our client is a leading company in the world of designing, manufacturing, and marketing heavy lifting solutions for the construction industry. The company is currently undergoing a significant phase of evolution, focusing on internationalization, expanding into new global markets, and diversifying its product range. To strengthen its commercial organization, we have been tasked with sourcing a Sales Director who will collaborate with the Top Management in navigating this challenging phase of business and organizational growth.
The Role
The position aims to identify a strategy for national and international development, driving forward the product commercialization and increasing the customer base. The Sales Director is part of the Leadership Team and will contribute to identifying the most efficient commercial organization based on specific objectives to be achieved. The position currently coordinates two Senior Key Account Managers in Italy. Among the objectives is also the opening of new markets, with a particular priority on the North American market.
The Requirements
Degree in Engineering, Economics or equivalent At least 10-15 years of experience in structured and qualified companies within the specific sector Deep Knowledge of the heavy lifting solutions market, of its main dynamics and stakeholders Ability to design processes and organizations from scratch Strong negotiation skills Business acumen Fluency in English
