We are looking for a Purchasing specialist/Buyer to support Purchasing activities in Italy. The role will be responsible for managing direct and indirect purchasing activities, supporting supplier negotiations, RFQ processes, and procurement operations in line with business priorities and company procedures.
Overall purpose of the role: Purchase goods, materials, and services to ensure that the company operational needs are met, considering price, quality, and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Commercial Negotiation on Spot and annual basis (price / payment terms / delivery, analysis and evaluation of bids to determine the optimal values)
· RFI / RFQ management and administration on spot and annual basis
· Orders management (Approval, Manual print, release & sending)
· Suppliers’ system management according with IATF 16949:2016 certification
· Suppliers / Internal customer claims management
· Contract management and revision for new and existing contract
· Purchasing office administration work (Archive, contracts + reporting)
· Master data management – Production -Non-Production – new part + MRP
· Import and Export management
· Support procurement process compliance and implementation of Purchasing strategy for Cambiano
· Reporting (rebate program, annual and spot savings)
· Consolidation of existing supplier portfolio
· Supplier qualification activities
Experience/Skills/Specific Knowledge/Education:
· Bachelor’s degree with a business or technical background.
· Three (3) plus years of experience in purchasing or related field.
· Automotive Industry experience is an advantage.
· Strong communication and negotiation skills.
· Knowledge of national and international contract/agreement.
· Knowledge of administration and financial purchasing.
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft excel and desired Navision skills.
· Highly collaborative and able to work as a peer within a regional and global organization.
· Fluent in English both oral and written.
· Self-motivated and self-driven attitude.
