Role Overview
As a Global Strategic Account Manager, you will part of our Global Sales Organization. You will support the development and growth of your strategic customers in the Food & Beverage (FMCG) sector. You will contribute to account planning, opportunity development and day‑to‑day coordination together with the colleagues of the different Gualapack Regions. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong growth mindset who wants to operate in consultative selling and deliver value‑based solutions in the flexible packaging market.
You will help move customer discussions by gathering insights, preparing proposals and ensuring smooth execution of commercial actions aligned with long‑term client objectives.
Your mission will consist in delivering solutions that align with our clients’ long-term strategic goals.
Key Accountabilities
Account Growth: Contribute to revenue growth on assigned strategic accounts through opportunity qualifications and follow‑ups.
Portfolio & Footprint Development: Push cross‑selling initiatives, collect technical inputs, and track actions to expand our product portfolio and industrial footprint.
Commercial & Contract: Manage the preparation and administration of Global/Regional agreements.
Matrix Coordination: Coordinate account activities across Gualapack Regions by working with the colleagues in the Regional Sales teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.
One-Face-to-the-Customer Execution: Maintain consistent customer communication and align with the Gualapack Regions to ensure the development of your assigned accounts.
Skills
Experience: more than 5 years of experience in sales or key accounting within flexible packaging industry, industrial machinery, or a related B2B environment.
Technical Understanding: Interest in, and a working understanding of, flexible packaging and/or filling machine solutions; ability to learn quickly with support from technical teams.
Sales Technology: Good working knowledge of Salesforce (or similar CRM) for opportunity tracking, customer data management and reporting.
Languages: Strong English (written and spoken) is required; additional languages are a plus.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with R&D, Production and Quality teams by gathering requirements, consolidating information and supporting customer-facing discussions.
Mobility: Availability to travel frequently.
