Job Summary
The Sr. Operations Manager oversees budget, people development, and operational objectives at the site. The role leads a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaches them, builds positive employee relations, and develops leadership strength within the Fulfillment Center (FC). The manager balances operational excellence with team development while driving results across the facility.
Responsibilities
* Lead development and implementation of quality improvement and process optimization initiatives, including Lean methodologies.
* Oversee performance of either Inbound or Outbound operations, focusing on safety, quality, and customer experience.
* Set and clarify requirements, measure performance, provide feedback, and hold Operations Managers accountable.
Physical Requirements
* Lift and move totes up to 49 pounds.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of equivalent experience.
* Work flexible hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends, and holidays.
* 7+ years direct management experience within a manufacturing, production or distribution environment.
* Prior experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean techniques.
* Full staffing lifecycle experience: interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and termination.
Preferred Qualifications
* Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
* Interest in long‑term career development through assignments in multiple FCs across the nation.
* Experience with a contingent workforce during peak seasons.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations or related field (MBA preferred).

Benefits
The base salary range is $135,000.00 – $182,700.00 USD annually. The package includes sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave. Additional benefits include EAP, Mental Health Support, and a Medical Advice Line.
