Job role: Business Development ManagerCompany: Copan Newlab Position Overview:The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving business growth across the EMEA region, managing a portfolio of both distributors and direct customers, specifically within the Food and Pharma sectors.Key Responsibilities:Achieve and monitor sales targets, conducting regular performance analysis to define and implement corrective or enhancement actions.Identify customer needs, organizational dynamics, and key decision-makers.Build and maintain strong business and technical relationships with key accounts by offering high-value, tailored solutions throughout Europe.Manage quotations and lead sales negotiations.Develop and execute action plans and strategic industry-level projects to deliver strong value propositions.Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as Marketing, Service, and Application Specialists to ensure a cohesive approach that enhances project success and delivers an excellent customer experience.Qualifications and Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related fields (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Industrial Technologies).Proven experience in Sales and within the Industrial sector. Knowledge of the Pharma and/or Food Processing and Analysis markets is a strong plus.Experience with Salesforce CRM is an advantage.Willingness to travel extensively across Europe (up to 75% of the time).Key Skills:Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.Curiosity, proactiveness, and resilience in managing complex sales cycles.Capacity to develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers.
