The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and exceptionally networked Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing organization. This pivotal role will be instrumental in identifying, engaging, and attracting toptier AI engineers, researchers, post-docs, and other scientific professionals, including those not actively seeking new opportunities within leading research institutes and R&D departments of large enterprises. Your primary focus will be to strategically connect our Institute with these highly sought‑after talents, ensuring we continue to build a world‑class team.

Turin, Italy. Partial remote working can be agreed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Proactive Talent Sourcing & Engagement: Develop and execute advanced sourcing strategies to identify and engage top‑tier AI and scientific professionals currently excelling within other leading research institutes and corporate R&D departments. This involves deep market mapping and cultivating relationships long before active recruitment needs arise.
* Outreach to Scientific Community: Immerse yourself in key AI, scientific, and technological communities (academia, research centres, specialized forums, professional associations).
* Relationship Building & Cultivation: Establish and nurture long‑term relationships with candidates. This includes understanding their career aspirations, research interests, and potential fit for future roles.
* Market Intelligence & Strategic Insight: Provide sophisticated insights on the competitive AI and scientific talent landscape, including compensation, retention strategies, and key talent pools within leading research organisations globally.
* Collaborative & Consultative Recruitment: Partner very closely with our Heads of R&D Unit and Director; act as a strategic consultant, leveraging your market intelligence to advise on talent strategy and identify the precise expertise needed to advance our research agenda.
* Selection and Hiring: Contribute to the selection and evaluation of candidates and support the hiring and onboarding process.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
* At least 5 years of experience in the field of computer science technology research and development, AI, motivated to undertake or pursue a career path aimed at identifying and engaging candidates for highly specialised technical and scientific roles, in particular from high‑level research institutes and corporate research and development environments.
* Talent in strategic sourcing, market intelligence, and building deep, trust‑based professional relationships within the AI/Machine Learning, Data Science, Robotics, or related scientific research domains.
* Deep understanding of the motivations, career paths, and cultural nuances of scientific and engineering talent in research settings.
* Superior networking, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal), with a refined ability to engage senior‑level professionals.
* Proficiency in advanced sourcing techniques, and professional networking platforms.
* Fluency in Italian and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
