We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis de Rang to join our dynamic restaurant team. As a Commis de Rang, you will play a crucial supporting role in delivering a first‑class dining experience for our guests. This entry‑level position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills and grow within the hospitality industry.
Main duties
* Table Preparation and Maintenance: Setting and clearing tables with precision and style, ensuring all necessary equipment, crockery, and cutlery are prepared.
* Guest Service Support: Assisting the Chef de Rang and Demi Chef de Rang in serving food and drinks, and ensuring guests receive courteous, prompt, and efficient service.
* Hygiene and Cleanliness: Maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the dining areas and service stations, including cleaning duties as per rota.
* Guest Interaction: Welcoming guests with a friendly demeanor, assisting them with seating, and anticipating their needs.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is beneficial.
* A strong sense of ethics, responsibility, and dedication to high standards of service.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to service and presentation.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Flexibility to handle changing situations and work efficiently under pressure.
* Good knowledge of English and Italian is beneficial; additional languages (e.g., French, Spanish) are a plus.
