Job Description:
Objectives:
* Responsible for negotiating with previously defined customers and prospecting for new customers in Italy, in close collaboration with the company’s management.
* Act as a Key Account Manager for assigned international clients.
* Deliver offers / quotes to existing and prospective customers.
* Report to the Sales Director Europe.
Main Activities:
* Define the sales strategy for the company's products to its customers.
* Gather all necessary information for preparing sale contracts.
* Coordinate with the technical team to propose suitable solutions for customers.
* Identify new business opportunities, especially related to replacing Polyamide compounds.
* Negotiate sale terms with management approval.
* Manage and record customer rates.
* Issue material samples and test requests for the laboratory.
* Build and maintain customer relationships for long-term engagement.
* Ensure proper application of contracts and sales volumes with customers.
* Identify and manage customer risks, financial risks, delivery disruptions, and structural changes.
* Serve as an interface between customers and internal departments including management, sales, R&D, QHSE, and finance.
* Assist technical and sales teams with tests, complaints, or disputes.
* Report on sales activities, customer status, and sample progress during meetings.
Your profile:
* Proficient in sales and negotiation techniques.
* Thorough knowledge of company products and technical capabilities.
* Experience in the plastics industry and plastics processing, especially injection molding, with successful account management.
* Analytical mindset adaptable to market changes.
* Strong decision-making skills to identify and mitigate problems.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication across departments and levels.
* Strong time management and prioritization skills with proactive attitude.
* Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
