Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead technical and commercial processes for spare parts and modernization solutions for rolling mills. You will prepare quotations, manage orders and coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. You’ll work in a multi-country setting within the Center of Excellence for Automation, Digital & Service Solutions. Your impact spans after‑sales activities, from precise specifications to timely delivery and service support. This is an opportunity to shape maintenance and upgrade programs for long‑ and flat‑product mills.
Responsibilities & Benefits
* Develop technical and commercial proposals for spare parts and modernization solutions for long product rolling mills and flat‑product rolling (hot/cold)
* Identify required components, equipment, and systems using customer docs and internal engineering support
* Prepare spare parts packages for initial supply with product‑specific technical departments
* Evaluate costs with purchasing, costing, and supplier management teams
* Draft technical specifications and detailed commercial quotations
* Oversee and coordinate order execution for on‑time delivery and accuracy
* Collect and analyze project information aligning after‑sales activities with contractual milestones
* Maintain accurate records of quotations and orders in ERP systems
* Provide excellent customer service handling technical inquiries and support needs
Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering or Technical Diploma (preferred Mechanical, Thermal, Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications)
* Previous experience in technical‑commercial back‑office roles within mechanical engineering companies or steel production plant environments
* Fluent English (written and spoken)
* Proficiency in SAP R/3 ERP systems; knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a plus
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
* High attention to detail, reliability, and ability to handle high volume work
* Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
