About the role
Reporting to the CCO, this new executive role will own and shape the company’s future commercial growth agenda across customer development, product innovation, revenue optimisation, and market expansion. You will identify and develop new commercial opportunities, build direct relationships with strategic customers, and steer product and market direction to support long-term, profitable growth.
Responsibilities
Lead strategic customer development, building senior relationships with key customers and driving deeper integration into their supply chains.
Own market expansion strategy, defining new and priority trade lanes, customer segments, and industries, and enabling sales teams to execute effectively.
Identify, develop, establish and lead revenue management, optimising network, capacity utilisation, and yield while scaling within existing markets and higher-value segments.
Own and define the global product portfolio and drive development, launch, and go-to-market of new products and solutions, including pricing and commercial frameworks.
Define and steward brand and market positioning, overseeing external communications, industry presence, and commercial content that supports sales.
Shape strategic partnerships, alliances, and commercial agreements, supporting senior leadership on new ventures and potential M&A.
Build market intelligence capabilities, turning competitor, demand, pricing, and performance insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
Partner cross-functionally with other departments to ensure commercial initiatives are executable and aligned to business objectives and revenue outcomes
Requirements
15+ years in commercial leadership roles within air cargo, aviation, or logistics, covering marketing, product, business development and/or commercial strategy.
Deep experience working directly with end customers in complex, international logistics or supply chains; freight forwarding experience is a strong plus.
Proven track record building new commercial capabilities, products, or markets and driving long-term revenue growth in an international B2B environment.
Demonstrated success in market expansion, partnerships, and major strategic initiatives.
Strong commercial and financial acumen, including pricing strategy, commercial optimisation, P&L ownership, and investment decision-making; revenue management or other capacity-driven environments are an advantage.
Strategic, hands-on leader with an entrepreneurial mindset who can influence and execute in a complex matrix organisation.
Fluent English; additional languages and willingness to travel internationally (around 30–40%) are an advantage.
