Ph3Commercial Support Intern - Agrifood Certification Services /h3 pPosting Date: 22 May 2026 /p pCity: Palermo /p pLocation: Palermo, Italy, 90139 /p pContract Type: Internship /p pDivision: Italy Food Certification /p pLevel of experience: Intern /p pRINA is currently recruiting for a Commercial Support Intern - Agrifood Certification Services to join its office in Palermo, Italy within the Italy Food Certification Division. /p h3Mission /h3 pThe Commercial Support Advisor plays the role in the administrative aspects of customer interactions, offer management, and basic pricing. This position supports the commercial team's efforts to provide efficient and effective services to clients while ensuring accurate record-keeping and contributing to marketing intelligence efforts. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 pbCustomer Data Management /b /p ul liSupport the maintenance of accurate and updated customer records within the company database, with specific reference to Agrifood clients and related services. /li liAssist in ensuring completeness and reliability of customer and commercial data, in line with internal procedures. /li /ul pbOffer Preparation and Pricing Support /b /p ul liSupport the preparation and issuance of commercial offers related to Agrifood certification, assurance, and related services. /li liAssist in collecting and organizing the information required for quotation development, including customer data, service scope, and commercial inputs. /li /ul pbCommercial and Administrative Support /b /p ul liProvide operational and administrative support to the commercial team in the management of Agrifood certification service activities. /li liSupport document preparation, data entry, opportunity tracking, and the orderly management of commercial information. /li /ul pbCustomer Communication /b /p ul liSupport communications with clients regarding offers, service information, pricing elements, and general commercial updates. /li liEnsure timely and professional follow-up on customer requests, in coordination with the commercial team and relevant internal functions. /li /ul pbData Analysis and Reporting /b /p ul liAssist in the analysis of sales data, customer portfolio information, and market trends related to Agrifood certification services. /li liSupport the preparation of reports and dashboards for the monitoring of pipeline, customer activity, and commercial performance. /li /ul pbDocumentation and Record Keeping /b /p ul liSupport the maintenance of accurate and well-structured records related to customer interactions, commercial offers, and service requests. /li liAssist in documenting quotations, pricing details, and other relevant commercial information. /li /ul pbCredit Control and Recovery Support /b /p ul liSupport the monitoring of outstanding receivables and aging reports related to the assigned customer portfolio. /li liAssist in follow-up activities concerning overdue payments, in alignment with company guidelines and under the coordination of the relevant functions. /li /ul h3Education /h3 pBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Finance Management or Agriculture/Agronomy/Food Technology /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul liInitial experience, such as internships, academic projects, or extracurricular activities in customer data management, sales support, or administrative roles, preferably gained within the Agrifood sector, is considered an advantage but is not mandatory. /li liStrong interest in commercial support activities and in developing a career within the Agrifood sector. /li liGood knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. /li liFamiliarity with CRM systems and digital tools, or willingness to quickly learn how to use them effectively. /li liGood organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work accurately in a dynamic business environment. /li liStrong attention to detail and accuracy in handling customer data, commercial documentation, and internal records. /li liGood communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal stakeholders. /li liAnalytical mindset, with the ability to support reporting, data analysis, and commercial monitoring activities. /li liBasic understanding of administrative processes and document management. /li liAwareness of confidentiality, data protection, and proper record-keeping principles. /li liInterest in Agrifood supply chains, certification, sustainability, and related business services. /li liFamiliarity with RINA services will be considered an advantage; however, a strong willingness to learn about the company’s service portfolio is essential. /li liProactive attitude, learning agility, and motivation to grow in a commercial and customer-oriented role. /li /ul pAt RINA, we endeavor to create a work environment where every single person is valued and encouraged to develop new ideas.
