To support our Company's growth, we are looking for an enthusiasticProduct Development Engineerwho will be part of our Engineering Unit, contributing to the development of avionics systems and satellite platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, procurement, and sales, to deliver high-quality, reliable, and innovative space solutions.

DUTIES

As aProduct Development Engineer, working closely with the Product Management Department, you will be responsible for executing the product vision, strategy and roadmap for space projects, ensuring they are aligned with customer needs and company goals.

The activities will include (but are not limited to):

- Lead the design and development of new products from concept to production;

- Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Testing teams to ensure product feasibility and performance;

- Maintain and update detailed technical documentation, including CAD models, drawings, specifications, and test reports;

- Support prototype development and validation through testing, analysis, and iterative improvements;

- Drive design reviews and risk assessments to ensure product reliability and compliance with applicable regulations;

- Interface with suppliers and external partners to evaluate components, materials, and manufacturing processes;

- Ensure product compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ECSS, ISO) and participate in certification activities;

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing product performance and implementing design enhancements.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field;

- At least 3 years of experience in product design and development, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or high-tech manufacturing sectors;

- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills;

- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams;

- Proactive, structured, and detail‐oriented mindset;

- Excellent written and oral communication in English.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCES & SKILLS

- Proven experience in product design and development;

- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA, SolidWorks) and PLM systems;

- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical design principles;

- Experience with testing, validation, and root cause analysis;

- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ECSS, ISO 9001);

- Basic understanding of Agile principles, methodologies, and project management tools (e.g., Jira);

- Familiarity with defining and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure product value and performance;

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;

- Adaptability to shifting requirements and stakeholders' needs;

- Continuous learning attitude and commitment to excellence.

ADDITIONAL ASSETS

- Proven experience in product development, preferably on avionics systems in space, defense, and aeronautics industries;

- Experience with space and defense-related technologies and systems, including satellite platforms and avionics systems;

- Familiarity with agile development methodologies;

- Ability to manage multiple bids and priorities simultaneously, working under tight deadlines.
