Job Description Who will you be working with? You will work for Annax, a Wabtec business unit specialized in passenger information systems for long and short distance trains, trams and subways. There is a growing development team in Piossasco, dedicated to strengthening the portfolio of tram and commuter train projects collaborating closely with other teams in Switzerland and China. How will you make a difference? As a Technical Team Leader System Software, you will be responsible for planning, coordination and technical guidance of the Software activities distributed over different sites. Additionally, you will be involved in the implementation and configuration of real time audio streaming features, IP network configurations and protocols, devices diagnostics, compatibility to 3rd party devices and cyber security requirements. What will your typical day look like? Coordinate and technical support of a team involved in multiple projects Define tasks and work packages Configuration and implementation of features in the context of a project Design module and framework extensions Develop, test and document your code Configure and integrate ANNAX software and Linux services Analyze issues and fix bugs Apply cyber security rules Live clean code principles Evaluate and elaborate new technologies What do we want to know about you? Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar Professional knowledge of Linux, Embedded Linux, IP networks Other skills: C++, scripting languages (bash, python), Unit Testing, UML Documentation with doxygen, sphinx and plantuml Administration of code with git, gitlab Professional English Works well independently Excited about distributed systems and having fun with them Available to travel occasionally What do we offer?
