You are responsible for engaging your team during a shift to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance performance and engagement. You will provide associates with the tools needed for success and drive productivity and efficiency through data-driven decisions and analytical problem-solving. This role is located in Singapore.Key Responsibilities
Supporting all safety programs and compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all AssociatesDeveloping performance goals and objectives to achieve customer promise expectations and ensure accuracy and qualityPartnering with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standardsProactively identifying and leading process improvement initiatives and Lean toolsBuilding and executing productivity plans by reviewing work forecasts, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Area Managers to balance laborLeading and developing a team of Amazon associatesCommunicating policies to associates and acting as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance and consistency and taking corrective action when neededEnsuring procedures are followed for building security and product loss preventionCreating, managing, and supporting recognition and communication programsHands‐on role: working closely with the team on the shop floor to solve problems and remove barriersCreate, oversee, and drive a culture of safety and well‐beingAnalyse and implement changes to keep quality and productivity at a consistently high levelOversee projects to streamline processes, optimise productivity and increase quality of service for customers within your area of responsibilityAnalyse shift performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve operational excellenceWork collaboratively with management-level colleagues to standardise shift practices
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience3+ years of employee and performance management experienceWork a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidaysExperience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teamsExperience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniquesExperience in warehouse operations and logistics or equivalentRelevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
