We are looking for a Panettiere (Pastry Chef) to join our DaV Restaurant team.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/She is willing to provide authentic and luxury experiences, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community.
He/She reports to the Executive Chef.
Main duties & responsibilities
* Fullfil the operations of the Food & Beverage on DaV Restaurant - according to the Company policies, high standards and procedures;
* Take care of the mise en place;
* Support the Chef de Rang with service;
* Clean and set‑up floors, tables, chairs, linens, glass and silver for service;
* Monitor all aspects of the customers' experience, from the restaurant layout before they arrive to the experience they receive during the service. Act to enhance a flawless service and anticipate guests' needs.
Requirements
* Effective communication: communicate clearly and in an appropriate manner (both verbally and non‑verbally);
* Emotional intelligence: demonstrate sensitivity to the needs and emotions of guests and colleagues and adjust his/her style to them. Manage own emotions in challenging situations;
* Adaptability: identify when a different approach is needed and offer solutions. Try and adopt new ways of doing things;
* Collaboration: be able and willing to work as a team player and share information and skills and actively seek and provide feedback.
Other requirements
* Fluent in Italian and basic level of English;
* Tourism or Hospitality degree preferred;
* Previous professional experience in a similar role, also with school internships;
* Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally.
