What you will do:As a Front-Line Sales Executive within Johnson Controls' Global Marine, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in the passenger ship segment, including small to midsize cruise lines, ferries, and luxury vessels. Your primary focus will be on building and managing relationships with shipyards, vessel owners, and operators across key global markets. You will promote Johnson Controls' portfolio of HVAC, fire safety, and integrated control solutions, ensuring alignment with customer needs and marine compliance standards. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting the passenger ship market, with a focus on newbuilds, retrofits, and service contracts. \r\n Build strong relationships with shipyards, naval architects, vessel owners, and operators to position Johnson Controls as a trusted partner. \r\n Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, leveraging market intelligence and industry trends. \r\n Collaborate with internal stakeholders including engineering, project management, and service teams to deliver tailored solutions. \r\n Represent Johnson Controls at marine trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings to enhance brand visibility and market presence. \r\n Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline data, and customer records using CRM tools. \r\n Ensure compliance with all relevant marine regulations and Johnson Controls' quality standards. \r\n What We Look For:We are seeking a self-motivated professional who excels both as an individual and within a team. Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the marine, shipbuilding, or maritime equipment sectors. \r\n Extensive experience in international sales, with a specific focus on new build projects within the passenger ship industry. \r\n Strong understanding of the passenger ship ecosystem, including key players, procurement cycles, and technical requirements. \r\n Ability to work independently and travel internationally as required. \r\n Technical background or familiarity with HVAC, fire safety, or automation systems is a plus. \r\n A degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering \r\n Fluency in English, both spoken and written, with additional languages being a plus due to the international scope of the role. \r\n Proficient in CRM Management (Salesforce preferred). \r\n Location:You will be based either in our Italian office or at another one of our European locations.
