Job Details Job Type:
Tempo pieno, permanent rolling contract
Start Date:
September 2026
About the School We are a new international school in Olbia that opened in September 2025. We have, in our first two months, established an environment where children are most happy every day; where families are very appreciative of our expansive educational offer; and where the community, of local residents and expat international families, is genuinely excited with the potential that has been created by our school, for the growth of the communities of Olbia, Gallura and Sardinia.
We have opened as a paritaria primary school and are developing in phases into an all-through international school, culminating in the IB Diploma Programme.
Our founding leadership team includes highly experienced educators with a background at top schools in the United Kingdom as well as in Sardinia itself. Our cohort of teachers includes teachers who have trained and worked in Italian primary schools, and also, a majority of staff who have joined us from schools across the globe, creating a genuine culture of internationalism within our paritaria Primary School.
About the Role We are seeking a Primary Class Teacher to join our teaching staff in September 2026, to support the expansion of our paritaria Primary School.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an Italian-trained teacher to work in a school that blends the Italian Primary Curriculum with the innovation and opportunities offered in an International School environment. There is the support of a team of colleagues who are a mix of experienced Italian Primary teachers and dynamic teachers who have joined us from first-rate international schools across the globe.
Classrooms at the school have been architecturally designed to support teaching and learning, and are equipped with both traditional and digital whiteboards. Class sizes are capped at a maximum of 16 pupils. Our lesson model places two teachers in every lesson, to provide more flexibility for individual pupil support, as well as more language interactions in both Italian and English.
The role can be balanced towards the interests and capabilities of the appointed candidate, but broadly will involve teaching elements of the Italian Primary Curriculum (Italian, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Art) to pupils from Prima to Quinta Elementare.
