We were meant to fly.As Technical Product Manager - Digital Engineering you will act as Product Owner for the Task Management application, being accountable for roadmap, secure-by-design evolution, compliance with national and international regulations and company policies, and structured governance of stakeholder requests.In addition, you will operate as a Project Manager on key digital transformation initiatives related to Lean-Agile adoption (according to SAFe framework) especially for Lean Portfolio Management, Change & Communication Management, and PMO framework for the DT-ENG organization (civil and military).You will partner with stakeholders across Avio Aero and GE Aerospace sites to ensure that solutions, processes and tools are aligned with business needs, regulatory requirements and the Digital for Engineering Lean-Agile operating model.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsabilitiesOwn and manage the Task manager application and modulesDefine and maintain the product vision and roadmap. Ensure a secure plan, guaranteeing full compliance with national and international regulations and company policiesCoordinate and govern stakeholder requests with a dedicated frameworks. Ensure quality, continuity and continuous improvementManage the delivery model with the AMS team (evolutive maintenance, changes, incident management upgrades, new features) in line with stakeholders needs and prioritiesMonitor usage, performance and satisfaction, promoting continuous improvement of processes and user experienceLead and prioritize the Digital Engineering Transformation Backlog, ensuring a clear funnel from ideas to implemented improvementsCoordinate the Lean Portfolio across all the team members and Agile release trains, ensuring alignment with strategic themesEstablish and maintain a governance model for expenses and budget planningBuild and formalize a robust, risk management framework for DT-ENG initiativesConsolidate an integrated roadmap and digital engineering strategy covering both civil and military initiativesLead Change Management, User Adoption and Communication Strategy, supporting stakeholders through key transformation and go‑live phasesCoordinate with the central PMO team to define, implement and sustain a robust PMO framework for DT-ENGStandardize and sustain program governance, including reporting, OKRs, key results action plans and milestones, in alignment with GE FLIGHT DECK principlesQualifications/RequirementsMaster\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related fieldSolid project management skills, including scope definition, planning, risk and dependency management, stakeholder coordination and progress reportingProven technical depth on project management applications and ability to interact effectively with both IT and business stakeholdersExperience working in complex, multi-disciplinary, globally distributed environmentsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work in geographically dispersed cross-functional teamsAbility to adjust communication style and level of detail to the audience, use appropriate presentation techniques, and respond constructively to questions and dissentAbility to ensure shared understanding of issues and to present clear rationale to influence decisions and outcomesDemonstrated ability to use appropriate facilitation techniques to gain agreement and move others to actionComfortable with uncertainty and able to deliver when guidelines are not fully defined, maintaining a strong focus on outcomes and continuous improvementFluent English and ItalianWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsExperience with SAFe framework and Lean Portfolio Management practicesExperience with Project management tools, as well as task management platforms similar to EASY PROJECT or similarUnderstanding of Engineering processes (e.g., NPI/NTI, ARTs, EPICs, Value Streams) in civil and military contextsPrevious experience in Change Management and digital solution adoption in complex organizationsProfessional certifications in Agile, SAFe, Project/Program Management (e.g., SAFe POPM, PMP, Prince2) are a plusWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes hybrid work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
