The Global Travel Retail (GTR) team is responsible for commercial and value builder activities at an international level, partnering key Travel Retail channel customers with the aim to maximize Campari Group brands’ visibility and awareness and strengthen their international development – it is the channel where we showcase our brands.
The GTR Marketing is a team within the wider GTR Business Unit, focused on creating flawless omnichannel campaigns and experiential in partnership with global and domestic teams, targeting international travelers across 3 main regions: Europe, Americas, APAC.
The GTR Brand Manager Intern will support the Marketing Manager on specific activities relative to the development and implementation of marketing strategy and activation plan in the Global Travel Retail channel. The candidate will support on high priority brands within the Campari Group Portfolio, focusing on Brown & Premium Spirits (ie The Glen Grant, Courvoisier, Wild Turkey etc). The candidate will contribute working seamlessly with a cross functional team spread across the world and on different time-zones, made by CCM, Commercial, PSC, Finance, Planning, Legal and external agencies.
This list provides a clearer understanding of the Marketing Intern's role in supporting the GTR Marketing Manager and showcases her/his involvement in a variety of critical marketing activities within the global travel retail channel:
- Asset and Toolkit Development: assist to create marketing and activation assets tailored for various travel retail subchannels. Assist in the design and production of toolkits that enhance brand visibility and messages.
- Innovation Project Contribution: support on innovation process flow for NPDs. Follow and support on the full global & GTR exclusive innovation path collaborating with all key stakeholders.
- Channel-Specific Communication (digital & media): Work closely with the team to adapt global communication strategies and materials to cater to the unique requirements and characteristics of the travel retail channel.
- In-Store Promotion & Consumer Engagement Planning: Co-operate with Channel and Customer team to help plan and execute in-store promotional activities and key trade events.
- Competitive and Financial Analysis: Support the team in conducting internal competitive and financial analysis. Gather and analyze data to gain insights into market trends, competitors, and financial performance. Assist in the preparation of reports and recommendations based on the analysis.
- Budget Support: Participate in budget-related activities by helping to track and manage marketing budgets. Assist in ensuring that expenditures align with the established budgets.
- PR communication: support in the PR activities and close communication with the partner agency
- Assisting in the preparation of reports and meeting materials, including arranging meetings and crafting presentation decks

Internal: Trade Marketing & Marketing Team, GTR Regional Managers key support functions, Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Global Teams (CRM, digital, CCM, PR)
External: Advertising agencies, business partners, PR agencies
Skills & Traits
- Fluency in English is a must for this role.
- Economics degree – Marketing or Economics related fields.
- Previous work/study experience in an international environment is a strong plus.
- Proficient use of Office package (Power Point, Word, Excel)
