Job Title: Business Development Manager
About the Role:
Gathering and screening sales leads from various sources is a crucial aspect of this role. You will be responsible for identifying potential customers and providing them with information about our residential solar and energy storage products. This includes demonstrating our product portfolio, understanding customer needs, and suggesting suitable solutions.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in sales or account management, particularly in the roofing or residential solar/energy storage industry. In-depth knowledge of solar equipment and installations is essential, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers. Ability to travel and work irregular hours is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Gather and screen sales leads from online/offline partners
* Provide potential customers with information about residential solar/energy storage products and demonstrate products portfolio
* Gather information to accurately identify the customer's solar/energy storage needs and suggest packaged solutions within selected product portfolio
* Prepare or review designs for the customer's installation and grid connection application
* Provide customers with quotes, sales orders, shipping details, tax credit/incentive information, loan/financing information, etc.
Requirements:
* Previous work experience as a roofing/residential solar/energy storage sales consultant/account manager
* In-depth knowledge of solar equipment and installations
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to relate technical information in layman's terms
* Ability to travel and work irregular hours
