Profile: The Chef de Rang is expected to resolve service‑related or food‑quality concerns promptly at the first point of contact, maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of wines, beverages, food trends, and local venues, and consistently apply food‑safety and hygiene standards. The role requires strong decision‑making skills, emotional maturity, the ability to remain calm and focused in fast‑paced environments, and a sincere, courteous, and humble service style. Excellence in teamwork, open communication, accuracy in transactions, and respectful collaboration with internal partners—including culinary teams—is essential. The Chef de Rang fulfills all responsibilities with the highest integrity, adheres to hotel policies and core practices, and maintains proficiency with departmental equipment and POS systems.
