The company specializes in complex technical retrofit projects, newbuildings’ outfitting projects, refit and refurbishment, and ship repair around the world. Today the company staff consists of over 600 permanent highly skilled and experienced marine professionals. As the company is growing and expanding, we are recruiting a Business Development Manager who can join and lead our team.


As a Business Development Manager, you would be responsible for the following:

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management : Promote the business of LTH Baas, identify leads, and potential new business to secure contracts with new clients primarily in the Italian cruise market, marine, commercial, offshore and oil refining industries. Market Research and Sales Strategy : Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends. Proposal Development and Negotiation : Lead negotiations with clients to secure profitable contracts.
Project Management: Responsible for the Project, Support ay-to-day marine technical, sales, and project management tasks of the relevant projects. This includes supporting various work units (sales, design, technical, engineering, logistics) to fully develop and coordinate the projects.
Interface with client and technical/interior teams during initiating, procurement, installation and commissioning/close out process of relevant projects. Project Oversight and Inspections : Be ready to travel for business trips as needed, including to the United States and other project locations, and oversee the execution of projects to ensure quality and timely completion. Conduct regular inspections onboard cruise ships and other vessels.
Prepare comparison/evaluation tools in Excel to evaluate different proposals, quotations, and designs. Generate memos regarding progress, meetings, business development and regular reporting for LTH Baas management at least once a week; Details and follow-ups shall be done in CRM system and by e-mail at the end of each week (weekly report).
Initial work assignment in Estonia for 3 weeks to familiarize yourself with the team, followed by travel as needed. Compliance with all health and safety regulations. Flexibility to work additional hours when necessary to meet project deadlines. Active participation in team meetings and collaborative projects.
Non-competition clause during the contract period and for one year after the contract ends.


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
~3 - 4 years' prior industry related business development experience
~ Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
