For the next season, we are looking for a Chef de Partie to join the team at our refined La Terrazza Restaurant and at the Pool Grill Restaurant.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges.
He/she should have exceptional taste and exemplary customer service skills. The primary objective is to provide a friendly, attentive, and timely service and to create an exceptional experience for all our guests.
He/She reports to Executive Chef.
Main duties & responsibilities:
* Meal preparation: cooking and preparing food for each service;
* Maintain safety, health and hygiene standards in all areas of the kitchen;
* Controls incoming goods and stores them in perfect conditions;
* Monitors portion and waste control;
* Performs all duties assigned by the Sous Chef and/or Executive Chef;
* Coordinate and monitor all Demi and Commis de partie assigned to him/her.
Requirements
* Thorough knowledge of cooking styles, equipments and raw materials processing techniques;
* At least 3 years of previous professional experience within the same role in a luxury environment;
* Tourism or Hospitality degree preferred;
* Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally.
* Effective communication, emotional intelligence, adaptability;
* Collaboration: be able and willing to work as a team player;
* Drive results: provide genuine and consistent high levels of service by anticipating and exceeding expectations of guests and colleagues;
* Global perspective: treat each other with respect and inclusiveness regardless of position, level or background;
* HACCP certification.
