The figure sought will be placed within the engineering department, in the exterior finishing team, as an expert designer and specializing in plastic materials. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, willing to learn and to collaborate with other departments, suppliers and engineering providers.
* During the feasibility phase definition technical and technological specification of components and systems
* In charge of technical aspects for direct design of components and systems
* Responsible for the achievement of performance for components and systems
* Application of new plastics techniques and technologies on new products
* Interface with function head into the product development department
* Collaborating with various departments to identify data needs and develop appropriate solutions.
* Management of developments together with Co-Design companies and partners
* Definition and supervision of external work packages with engineering providers
* Documentation of acquired knowledge in design standards
* All documentation and written correspondence in English
Requirements:
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
* Knowledge of data management tools and databases (e.g. SQL, Excel, Access).
* Knowledge and practical experiences with 2D & 3D model (Catia V5 - V6)
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Aptitude for teamwork and collaboration.
* Knowledge of Italian and English, both written and spoken.
* MS Office 365, Outlook and Teams
