PFor a client of ours, we’re hiring a Senior Business Developer to lead the full lifecycle of utility-scale renewable energy projects, across origination, partnerships, bidding, and transition to execution. /ppThis is a strategic, cross-functional role that sits at the heart of new market entry and project development. You'll report to the Country Head and collaborate with international business development leads to identify high-impact opportunities and bring them to commercial close. /ppKey Responsibilities: /pulliIdentify and assess new project opportunities, partnerships, and acquisition targets /liliStructure joint ventures and consortia with local and international players /liliManage the full bid process, from initial application through to negotiation and award /liliLead strategic, technical, and financial due diligence /liliBuild and validate the project’s financial model and risk profile /liliMonitor national and regional regulatory frameworks and incentives /liliOversee external advisors (legal, engineering, commercial) and service providers /liliCoordinate on offtake agreements (PPA, BRP/ARP) with internal energy management team /liliEnsure a smooth handover to implementation teams post-commercial close /liliContribute to broader strategic development new markets, business lines, and partnerships /li /ulpWhat We’re Looking For: /pulli8–12 years’ experience in business development, project finance, MA, or transactional roles /liliBackground in renewable energy is mandatory /liliProven track record in originating and closing complex infrastructure projects /liliStrong commercial acumen and negotiation skills in competitive environments /liliExperience managing diverse stakeholders: internal teams, partners, advisors /liliAbility to operate across financial, legal, technical, and regulatory dimensions /liliFluent English required; French or another European language is a plus /liliBased in Milan (hybrid model) /li /ulpIf you're ready to take a leadership role in shaping the energy transition, and enjoy working at the intersection of strategy, finance, and execution, we’d love to hear from you. /ppApply directly, or send us your CV at /p
