PbABOUT THE ROLE /b /ppThe Sales Engineer (SE) supports the sales team by providing technical expertise on opportunities. /ppHe / She is part of the Technical Sales team / sales team to develop the company’s turnover while ensuring that the solutions offered to customers can be installed and managed during the life of the contract. /ppThe SE works closely with sales teams to acquire new business and maintain existing customer relationships. /ppThe SE collaborates with the Technical Department to propose and validate tailor-made offers aligned with customer requests. /ppbRESPONSIBILITIES /b /polliLead technical tours and presentations detailing Data4 datacenter colocation. /liliValidate technical and financial aspects of standard projects (e.g., power density, power meter) before submitting offers to customers. /liliRespond to complex and strategic RFI / RFPs by preparing technical responses and compliance tables. /liliValidate projects with the Technical Department to find the best technical solutions for customers. /liliConsolidate costs for standard project offers to enable sales to present accurate proposals. /liliEscalate non-standard needs to the Technical Department for cost estimation and communication. /liliMaintain knowledge of Data4 products and services to promote offerings within the Sales Department and to customers. /liliAdvise customers to guide them towards standard Data4 services. /liliSupport customer presentations and promote Data4 solutions, emphasizing competitive advantages. /liliAssist sales in negotiating significant or specialized contracts, including validation of drawings and rack layouts. /liliProvide ongoing support and follow-up activities post-sales, including pre-sales follow-up. /liliSupport the Head of Technical Sales in developing new services, documentation, training, and procedures. /liliPropose innovative solutions and new services for implementation. /liliEnsure documentation on standard products is accessible, including descriptions, pricing, contracts, SLA, penalties, etc. /liliMonitor technical aspects of data centers (cooling, electricity) to ensure assets remain state-of-the-art. /liliPropose innovative solutions to the Technical Department based on customer needs (design, operations, etc.). /liliCreate technical arguments to promote Data4 technology solutions. /liliSupport customers in evangelization and proper use of Data4 tools and services (e.g., customer portal). /liliSuggest organizational improvements to enhance efficiency. /li /olpbRESPONSIBILITIES IN TERMS OF IMS CERTIFICATIONS /b /polliEnforce certification policies related to HS, environment, information security, and energy reduction. /li /olpbREQUIREMENTS /b /ppbEducation and experience /b /pulliPreferably an engineering degree. /li /ulpbTechnical skills /b /pulliKnowledge of data centers. /liliAbility to listen and respond accurately to customer questions. /liliAbility to present offers effectively. /liliTeamwork skills. /liliProficiency in responding to and writing customer offers. /liliKnowledge of competing offers. /liliProficiency with AutoCAD and Visio tools. /li /ulpbSoft skills /b /pulliTeamwork. /liliMotivation to find optimal solutions within Data4 standards for long-term customer support. /liliGood written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
