Key Job Responsibilities
Create, oversee, and drive a culture of safety and wellbeing. Analyse and implement changes to maintain quality and productivity at consistently high levels. Oversee projects to streamline processes, optimise productivity, and increase quality of service within your area. Analyse shift performance against business objectives and implement actions to improve operational excellence. Work collaboratively with management-level colleagues to standardise shift practices.
A Day in the Life You’ll work a shift at one of our sites, making sure it is as productive as possible. Your main focus will be to own and drive a safety culture while upholding quality and shift performance standards. You’ll oversee process improvements, drive implementation, and serve as a role model and mentor to new managers. A typical day is varied, from routine team management and daily operations to process improvement and operational contingency tasks. About the Team Customer Fulfilment (CF) started as a team of booksellers and has scaled to handle more than 1.5 million orders daily. Our centres are the heart of Amazon’s fast‑paced operations, often called the ‘First Mile’ where packages begin their journey. We manage dynamic inventory and facilitate speedy deliveries around the clock. The CF team welcomes a wide range of skills, from working with physical products to analysing data that supports business decisions. Basic Qualifications
Advanced proficiency in Italian (CEFR C1) spoken and written. University degree. Experience in people management. Experience communicating with a broad range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership. Experience using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions. Advanced proficiency in English (CEFR C1) spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques. Experience in another logistics environment. Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional setting.
