This is an excellent platform to launch your career with Amazon. /p pAs an Account Manager, you are expected to be fluent in Japanese and preferably well‑versed in Japanese business etiquette, as you will be directly supporting vendors in the JP retail market. You will serve directly with vendors and manage aspects of their businesses on the Amazon platform. Through in‑depth data analysis and market trend insights, you will assist vendors in developing practical and effective business strategies, driving business growth, and achieving revenue goals, while continuously optimizing key manufacturers’ (vendors’) overall performance on the Amazon platform. /p pYour core responsibilities will focus on day‑to‑day communication with vendors, strategy formulation, business reporting, and relationship maintenance, ensuring that vendor needs are promptly responded to, solutions are efficiently executed, and long‑term stable cooperation is achieved. /p h3Key job responsibilities /h3 ul liContinuously monitor daily operational data, proactively identify potential risks, ensure the effective execution of strategies, and make timely adjustments as necessary to maintain smooth business operations. /li liBased on data, propose feasible optimization solutions to improve the vendor’s performance in supply chain efficiency, traffic acquisition, conversion rates, etc., thereby driving overall sales growth. /li liMaintain frequent and high‑quality communication with vendors, deeply understand their business needs and concerns, ensure issues are promptly responded to and effectively resolved, and build strong trust and collaborative relationships. /li liProvide regular professional and systematic business reports to vendors, clearly communicate goal progress based on quantifiable data, outline future strategic directions and key initiatives, and analyze the core reasons and business implications behind the data. /li liWork with vendors to define and achieve business targets. /li liProvide weekly reports to relevant internal teams to ensure transparency and promote cross‑team collaboration. /li liCollaborate closely with internal functional teams, actively coordinate resources, and secure necessary support to help vendors achieve sustainable business growth. /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul li​Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business school education. /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese; good written English skills. /li liStrong presentation and communication abilities, able to express thoughts logically and succinctly; excellent listening skills, highly consultative and solutions‑oriented. /li liData analysis skills — ability to collect, clean, interpret, challenge, and analyze data and provide actionable solutions; demonstrated ability to manage business operations. /li liInfluencing and metrics management skills — ability to understand business metrics and create realistic forecasts; strong negotiation skills. /li liAbility to operate independently in a fast‑paced, sometimes ambiguous environment, with full responsibility for achieving business goals. /li liAbility to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions for typical and complex issues. /li liAbility to work collaboratively within teams, focusing on delivering high‑quality results. /li liProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word) and content management systems; quick to learn and use new tools and systems. /li liAbility to manage and drive business outcomes independently in a fast‑changing, sometimes uncertain environment. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liAt least 3 years of relevant experience, with experience as an Account Manager preferred. /li liStudy experience in Japan preferred. /li liExperience working in a Japanese local company preferred. /li liKnowledge of SQL and Python preferred. /li /ul pOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
