Rocket Software Sales Engineers are experienced technical professionals with an extensive enterprise software sales background who can successfully be the technical sales lead on software opportunities to progress and close business, and must function well as a member of a dynamic team, while having the ability to also work independently to progress and close business. /p h3Essential Duties and Responsibilities /h3 ul liEasily relate to customer challenges and provide clear, non-technical, value-based solutions. /li liPresent solutions to customers and partners with or without sales support. /li liSupport partners in all aspects of the sales process. /li liSuccessfully convey technical details to a non-technical audience, as well as foster credibility with more technical audiences. /li liProvide knowledge and skills to help qualify business opportunities by understanding the user requirements and technical environment. /li liProvide ongoing mentoring and guidance on all software components, design techniques, methodology and delivery concept to partners. /li liActively participate in training and mentoring activities of other members of the Sales Engineering team. /li liHandle objections professionally; answer questions quickly and coherently; deal with challenges assertively and persuasively. /li liSelf-manage assignments and administrative tasks, managing multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish. /li liActively engage with other areas of the business including product marketing and product development so as to ensure Rocket is seen as the vendor of choice in the market. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liA minimum of 8+ years of relevant sales engineering experience. /li liMainframe experience. /li liGUI Design, API, and Modernization experience. /li liREST services and other application development skills and experience. /li liFamiliar with relational and non-relational database design. /li liStrong problem solving and requirements gathering skills. /li liStrong written and verbal communication skills. /li liHighly motivated and comfortable taking on a variety of tasks in order to satisfy business requirements. /li liDetail-oriented and can rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts and technologies. /li liAbility to work independently and engage team support as required. /li liAbility to prioritize and manage workload to meet defined deadlines. /li liMust be comfortable working in a rapidly changing and sometimes unstructured environment. /li liExcellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian. /li /ul h3Information Security /h3 pInformation security is everyone’s responsibility.
