Job Summary
The Sales Representative Healthcare IT Solutions is the commercial reference for managing new opportunities and related clients in the IT sector. They must establish consulting and collaborative relationships with clients. The role requires specific expertise in the BU HITS products, identifying how these can be integrated into the workflows of Clinical Pathology Laboratories and Healthcare Information Systems. The representative conducts commercial actions related to high-technology and complex diagnostic solutions, either personally or through prospect identification by the sales team. They must understand the market, competition, and product positioning of BU HITS.
They collaborate with the BU HITS Marketing Team to promote IT solutions and support the Operations Team in managing sold solutions.
Key Accountabilities
* Manage commercial activities to meet BU HITS budget objectives.
* Identify commercial strategies to satisfy market needs.
* Seek new opportunities and strategic clients for business growth and brand image enhancement.
* Propose new functionalities, products, and services to increase revenue based on installed base.
* Support the Marketing Team in bid responses, technical and economic proposals.
* Define offers for new opportunities, product extensions, and maintenance contracts.
* Ensure profitability through direct involvement in the sales process.
* Maintain contacts with Key Opinion Leaders and partners.
* Gather prospects from the diagnostic product sales team for business expansion.
* Catalog competitive intelligence data for CRM updates.
* Maintain relationships with partner companies for complementary supplies.
Networking/Key Relationships
Internal: BU HITS Marketing and Operations Teams, Sales, Service, Tender Office, Finance, Control, Quality Assurance, HR.
External: Clients, Suppliers, Key Opinion Leaders, Sales and Service Agencies.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience
* Degree in a scientific field.
* Project Management skills.
* Technical/commercial IT knowledge.
* Understanding of market, competition, and clients.
* Knowledge of products and technologies.
* Economic-financial knowledge (P&L, budget, costs, margins, HTA).
* Organizational knowledge (roles, processes).
* Proficiency in Office Suite, SAP, CRM.
* English level B2/C1.
