Together, let's build a brighter, healthier future for all. /p h3The Hill’s Sales Manager (SM) /h3 pThe Hill’s Sales Manager (SM) is responsible to grow Hill’s business (sales, distribution, market share and Brand Recommended Most Often "BRMO") in the assigned territory. /p pThe Sales Manager manages the customers, both veterinary clinics and specialty pet retail stores, in the assigned territory and ensures Hill’s is the strategic partner of choice for these customers and gain support to grow Hill’s business. /p h3What you will do: /h3 h3Product Knowledge /h3 pDevelop and maintain high standards of knowledge in small animal nutrition, Hill’s and competitors’ products through company training and self‑study. /p h3Territory Management /h3 pAchieve territory sales targets managing orders' collection through effective visits with customers and handling efficiently all the commercial/financial aspects and engaging all the internal stakeholders. /p pReview potential of accounts within the territory (every year). /p pPromptly identify new accounts and secure strong presence and endorsement for Hill’s brands. /p pMaintain accurate records in the Hill’s reporting system. /p pLeverage all Company available tools to drive execution (Product Distribution, Detailing material, Staff Feeding, Sampling, Trial, etc.). /p h3Clinic / Store Business Development /h3 pDevelop deep knowledge of the customers’ business and organization; build a network with key decision makers / key influencers in the vet practice and specialty pet store in the assigned territory. /p pDevelop the business of the assigned area also by providing best in class professional support (detailing, in‑clinic/store seminars, technical training, merchandising), reaching all key stakeholders in specified practices and stores, collaborating with the Pet Vet Affairs (PVA) team ensuring an effective planning and active participation during the activities. /p pIdentify opportunities in the assigned customer base and develop technical and business propositions that meet the needs of both Hill’s and the customer, resulting in BRMO leadership. /p pManage multi store customers and some specific needs. /p pAwareness, full distribution and active endorsement by the veterinary profession of Hill’s products. /p pFull distribution, excellent visibility and active endorsement of Hill’s products by the store staff. /p pRapid acceptance, endorsement and distribution of new products Establishment of shelf space and adequate inventory within each store. /p h3Business Financial Management /h3 pMonitor achievement of territory objectives vs target develop strategies to address changes in the business environment as appropriate. /p h3Meetings Conferences /h3 pRepresent Hill’s at meetings/conferences e.g. Trade shows, Local and National meetings, Client Meetings, Clinic/Store Special events. /p h3Education/ Experience Required /h3 pMaster's degree in Veterinary, Animal Science or equivalent. /p pPrevious sales experience required minimum at least 2/3 yrs (nutrition company, veterinary industry or pharmaceutical company). /p pExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). /p pStrong selling skills.
