Train System Engineer
Job location: Turin area
Job Responsibilities
The selected resource - acting as part of a team aimed to give engineering support to a Train System Dept. within a complex, structured environment with high technological standards - will be responsible for:
* Analyzing customer requirements
* Analyzing gaps with reference solution
* Defining architecture and functionalities in compliance with requirements
* Writing technical specifications
* Validating technical supplier proposals
* Reviewing clauses and ensuring compliance
* Driving technical relationships with suppliers, managing risks and validation
* Reviewing supplier solution designs and performance of critical components
* Monitoring development progress of suppliers
* Freezing interfaces (mechanical, electrical)
* Managing technical risks
* Managing validation plans
* Validating type tests and attending them
* Preparing and validating documentation for customers
* Conducting tuning activities at train level
* Writing test specifications and attending type and serial tests
* Managing modifications and validating technical changes
* Providing and validating maintenance tools and training
Work Experience & Skills
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
3+ years of experience in similar roles
Proficiency with product management, DOORS, VISIO, and professional English
