As a Control Software Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Leading the development of new advanced algorithms and the introduction of new technologies to the market, including presenting and reviewing during program execution.
Developing control system software based on technical specifications to ensure quality and performance.
Analyzing plant site requests and supporting technical meetings with customers, project teams, suppliers, and universities.
Creating and improving control software solutions, fostering continuous system improvement, and implementing lessons learned.
Building advanced controls for engine and process applications, leveraging modeling and simulation tools to predict and validate digital-twin systems.
Fuel your passion
To succeed in this role, you should:
Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Automation, Energy, Electrical, Electronic, Robotics, Telecommunication Engineering, or Computer Science.
Have relevant experience in software design within an engineering context.
Possess a holistic design mindset for system solutions, including hardware, networking, software, and plant operation.
Be familiar with industrial PLC programming languages, C#, MATLAB, and Simulink.
Understand main industrial network communication protocols and standards.
Demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence in a multicultural environment.
Be willing to travel worldwide for customer meetings and site support.
Be a good team player with fluent English communication skills.
Desired requirements:
Master’s Degree in relevant engineering fields.
Deep knowledge of advanced algorithms, big data, and machine learning concepts.
Proven experience in control algorithms engineering.
