Ph3ABOUT THE ROLE /h3 pThe Sales Engineer (SE) is the support of the sales team on opportunities that require its expertise. /p pHe/She is part of the Technical Sales team/sales team to develop the company’s turnover while ensuring that the solutions offered to customers can be installed and managed during the life of the contract. /p pThe SE works closely with sales teams to earn new business and maintain existing customer relationships. /p pThe SE works closely with the Technical Department to propose and validate tailor‑made offers in line with customer requests. /p h3RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liLead technical tours and presentations detailing Data4 datacenter colocation /li liStandard Projects: Technical and financial validation of standard projects (e.g. power density, power meter, etc.) before any offer sent to the customer /li liResponse to complex and strategic RFI / RFP (Request For Information / Pricing): Constitution of the technical offer of responses to RFI / RFP in order to respond to customers’ technical compliance tables /li liTechnical validation of projects with the Technical Department to find the best technical solution for the customers /li liConsolidation of costs concerning the “standard” offers of projects to allow salespeople to make the offer to the customers (according to the margin applied by the salesperson) /li liEscalation of “non-standard” needs to the Technical Department to obtain the costs and transmit them to the sales team /li liKnowledge of the Data4 product and services portfolio to promote the offer within the Sales Department and to customers /li liBe a force of proposal vis‑a‑vis customers to guide them towards standard Data4 service offerings /li liCustomer Defence (CIO). Attend customer presentations to support the Company’s offerings by promoting its offerings and valuing its solutions compared to those of its competitors /li liAssist sales teams in the negotiation of the most significant or specific contracts to improve sales (e.g. validation of drawings/rack layout) /li liProvide ongoing support and control relevant post‑sales activities; these may include all follow‑up pre‑sales activities /li liSupport to the Head of Technical Sales: The SE may be required to help the Head of Technical Sales to develop and implement new services within the Service Catalog (associated documentation, price grid, sales representative training, implementation of associated procedures, etc.) /li liBe a force of proposal on the implementation of new solutions and new services /li liEnsure that documentation on standard products is available to sales teams (descriptions of technical services, pricing conditions, standard contract – SLA, penalties, etc.) /li liConstant Technical Watch: Technical monitoring on data centers (Cooling, Electricity, etc.) to ensure that Data4 assets are always state of the art according to new customer needs /li liBe a force of proposal vis‑a‑vis the Technical Department to propose innovative solutions requested by customers (design, operations, etc.) /li liCreation of technical arguments to enhance Data4 technology solutions /li liDiverse support our customers in the evangelization and proper use of Data4 tools and services (ex: customer portal) /li liTo be a force of proposal in the improvement of the organization to improve efficiency /li /ul h3RESPONSIBILITES IN TERMS OF IMS CERTIFICATIONS /h3 ul liRespect and enforce certification policies in terms of HS: Respect and enforce health and safety rules /li liEnvironment: Respect and enforce environmental policies /li liInformation security: Respect and enforce information security policies /li liEnergy: Respect and enforce the policy of reducing energy consumption /li /ul h3REQUIREMENTS /h3 h3Education and experience /h3 ul liPreferably engineering degree /li /ul h3Technical skills /h3 ul liTechnical knowledge of data centers /li liAbility to listen and answer customer questions accurately /li liAbility to present offers to customers /li liAbility to work in a team /li liAbility to respond/write to customer offers /li liKnowledge of competing offers /li liKnowledge of AutoCAD and Visio tools /li /ul h3Soft skills /h3 ul liTeamwork /li liMotivation to find the best solution for the customer while remaining within the standards of data 4 (in order to be able to support the customer in the long term) /li liGood written and oral expression (Italian English) /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
