At Lavazza Denmark, we have the strongest portfolio of coffee brands in Denmark – including the well-known Merrild and Lavazza, the premium Italian coffee brand no. 1.
We are experiencing positive development and are looking for a Procurement Manager responsible for implementing the Group's category strategies in line with local needs. You will report to the Nordic CFO, and the position will be based at our Danish office in Fredericia.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Serve as the link between Headquarter Procurement and the local Requesting Department (Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, IT), ensuring compliance with Global Lavazza strategies on operational and strategic levels.
* Implement category strategies aligned with Headquarter requirements, managing purchasing decisions over medium to long-term horizons, seizing savings opportunities, mitigating risks, and ensuring quality and competitiveness.
* Manage local strategic supplier sourcing, including scouting, evaluation, and selection based on defined metrics and department requirements, as well as contract negotiation and finalization.
* Oversee supplier relationships and contracting, identify areas for improvement, define supplier development activities, and manage contract lifecycle.
* Create Purchase Orders for local departments, ensuring compliance with policies and timely, accurate processing, including amendments or cancellations as needed.
* Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards, staying updated on regulatory changes.
* Provide local operational, tactical, and strategic procurement support.
* Monitor KPIs and metrics to track budget versus actual spending.
* Participate in ad hoc tasks or projects at the local level.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Proficient in collaborating with stakeholders nationally and internationally, both internal and external.
* Capable of managing multiple tasks and projects, adapting between operational and strategic work.
* Experience in identifying potential suppliers and defining evaluation criteria.
* Skilled in negotiation strategies and contract management, including renewals, disputes, and compliance.
* Knowledge of local procurement laws.
* IT skills, with familiarity with SAP being an advantage.
* Proficiency in English and Danish.
