As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and innovation across multiple sectors. Your primary responsibility will be to stay up-to-date with product launches and transitions to maintain effective sales engagement programs.
* You will develop new business opportunities with major Light Commercial Refrigerator and Freezer Agents, OBMs, and OEMs.
* Establishing strong customer relationships through products and services is essential.
* Your tasks will involve working closely with all facets of the customer's organization, including engineering, purchasing/sourcing, operations, product management, and quality representatives.
To achieve success, you must provide customer information through presentations covering new products, project schedules, quality performance, and technical training. You will also document market and customer findings and communicate this information back to the organization.
About the Role
* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required.
* A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Sales and Marketing or R&D departments is necessary.
* Familiarity with Light Commercial reciprocating compressor products is essential.
* You should have knowledge and understanding of compressor applications and regulations for Light Commercial markets.
* Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills (English and one European language) are required.
* You must be highly motivated, self-sufficient, and capable of managing multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Support marketing efforts to evaluate market segment trends, monitor government regulatory activities, and solicit customer feedback.
* Assist team members and peers to achieve KPIs.
* Participate in regional and international trade shows to support product and business promotional activities.
This role requires frequent domestic travel with occasional international travel and weekend travel. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) is necessary. Prior work experience with major Light Commercial Agents, OBMs, and OEMs is beneficial.
