Overview
Product Manager – Insurance Protection Products at Generali, joining Banca Generali ( a private bank leader in Italy in financial planning and client protection through a network of private consultants.
The role involves defining the Life and Protection products offering issued by Generali Group's Country Italy and by non-resident companies operating in Italy, within the Servizio Prodotti Risparmio Assicurativo.
Responsibilities
* Implementing the Protection offering strategy, defining product characteristics including target market, pricing, and ancillary services
* Collaborating with insurance companies to ensure timely product launches while overseeing IT, operational, and procedural implementation
* Continuously monitoring product performance, conducting analyses on products under review, and proposing improvement initiatives
* Ensuring operational continuity for clients and providing necessary support to Distribution Networks
* Maintaining oversight of competitors’ offerings and market trends in collaboration with the Market Intelligence team to keep the proposition state-of-the-art
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or related fields
* 6+ years of experience in similar roles within the banking or insurance sector
* At least 6 years of experience in Product Management roles within the banking or insurance sector
* Deep understanding of insurance dynamics, with specific regard to insurance protection products
* Expertise in insurance regulations and compliance
Nice to have
* Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid commercial mindset
