Sales Director Role
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership position in sales and drive revenue growth for our luxury hospitality business. As Sales Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all sales activities and developing effective strategies to maximize hotel revenues. You will work closely with the internal and head office teams to achieve these goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement sales action plans in collaboration with internal and external teams.
* Determine revenue and expenditure budgets in consultation with stakeholders.
* Develop and execute sales strategies to target various market segments.
* Monitor expenses and optimize sales performance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary Objectives:
The primary objectives of this role include:
* To develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that drives revenue growth.
* To build strong relationships with clients and identify new business opportunities.
* To analyze sales data and make informed decisions to improve sales performance.
Account Management:
You will be responsible for managing existing client accounts and identifying opportunities to extend their business with us. This will involve regular communication, providing excellent customer service, and negotiating contracts to meet business needs.
Sales and Marketing Activities:
As Sales Director, you will lead the development and execution of sales and marketing activities, including trade fairs, events, and property tours. Your goal will be to attract potential clients and showcase our luxury hospitality offerings.
Candidate Profile:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the luxury hospitality industry.
* Excellent Italian and English language skills, with any additional languages highly appreciated.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to clients.
* Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of Opera PMS (an advantage).
