JOB FUNCTIONS 
Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Culture, takes responsibility for the development, delivery and execution of the annual Marketing plan and Marketing budgets in line with the hotel strategic priorities and revenue target by market segments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 1. Oversee content creation and agency briefs (copy, photo/video), ensuring alignment with brand and hotel positioning.
 2. Lead local market positioning and activation of restaurants and bars, implementing engaging marketing activities and events to attract locals and increase guest capture.
 3. Act as Brand Champion with hotel leadership, ensuring brand activation and a consistent guest experience across touchpoints.
 4. Identify and manage profitable partnerships to boost hotel visibility, demand, loyalty, and guest experience.
 5. Drive Loyalty Marketing, enhancing engagement with events and Elite guest experiences.
 6. Support sales with marketing collateral for key segments (., Groups, Weddings).
 7. Ensure compliance with Marriott standards and champion social media strategy with a focus on reputation and engagement.
 8. Conduct competitive analysis and support local promotional activities (., photo shoots, press visits).
 9. Partner with Area Marketing to adapt global initiatives locally, ensuring budget compliance with Finance.
 10. Manage media requests and liaise with local PR teams.
REVENUE GENERATION
 11. Implement pre- and post-stay marketing messages based on calendar needs.
 12. Align marketing efforts with sales forecasts and assist with campaigns to drive bookings.
 13. Create website content and support digital channel optimization.
 14. Connect with Marriott sales channels and coordinate advertising as needed.
DIGITAL
 15. Collaborate with the Digital Field team on multilingual campaigns.
 16. Measure content impact and ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
 17. Manage OTA updates, social media channels, and reputation review sites.
COLLATERAL
 18. Brief agencies on design needs and ensure all materials are on brand.
 19. Regularly review and update guest-facing content to maintain local relevance and brand alignment.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS 
In addition to the essential functions above, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel: 
 20. Professionally represent the hotel in community and industry organizations and events.
 21. Provide constructive feedback to all departments, specifically in relation to the repositioning of the Restaurants/Bars and Brand Activation efforts across all departments.
 22. Be a role model to all associates.
 23. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS 
Education 
 34. Marketing degree required
Experience 
 35. Minimum 2 years of marketing experience
