Responsibilities
* Drive the implementation of business development strategies across Italy and originate and close new business opportunities.
Skills & Experience Requirements
* Proven track record in a business development or sales role, achieving sales in a demanding environment.
* Extensive experience with CCTV and associated technologies, or similar market segment, especially presenting solutions to end users and consultants/specifiers.
* Ability to work independently, understanding customer needs, defining solutions, and creating professional commercial proposals (system integrators, end-users).
* Knowledge of the electronic security market, main channels, and potential customers within IT & Networking.
* Previous experience with a CCTV manufacturer is beneficial but not essential.
* Good understanding of new technologies, especially network video systems and their topology.
* Business or technical degree level education is advantageous.
* Proficient in PC skills, including intermediate and advanced Microsoft Office (Excel).
* Desire to positively impact the market and enhance brand recognition.
* Strong relationship-building skills with internal colleagues and key clients.
* Independent thinking and sound judgment.
* Motivational skills to lead teams toward targets.
* Team player with successful team experience.
* Logical, well-organized, with attention to detail.
* Proactive, solution-oriented approach.
* Self-motivated, able to work independently.
* Strong project management, product planning, and communication skills, capable of presenting to board-level and communicating clearly at all levels.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Fluent in English and at least one local European language.
* Valid clean driving license.
Location: This is a field-based role; ideally, the candidate resides in the South region of Italy. Candidates from other regions may be considered based on experience and skills. Extensive travel within Italy, especially in South Italy, is required, with occasional travel outside Italy.
