Operations & Visual Manager (In Store) - Florence
Florence, Italy (Firenze). Salary: EUR 40,000 – 55,000 per annum.
This Operations & Visual Manager is a critical member of the store leadership team, accountable for bringing ALO’s operational and visual strategy to life in the store. The role focuses on inventory management, labor planning and scheduling, visual execution, and ensuring the store is always customer‑ready.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations & Visual Leader
* Oversee and support execution of key operational and visual processes
* Investigate and root cause inventory accuracy issues, partnering with the General Manager to address process or system gaps
* Champion strong visual standards for the sales floor using business performance data
* Support sell‑through management by ensuring inventory counts accuracy and coordinating labor hours to receive product deliveries efficiently
* Support a safe work environment and efficient operation
Business Leader
* Represent the business in meetings and conference calls in partnership with the General Manager
* Review, monitor and partner with the General Manager to manage the budget and other business data (e.g., expenses, sell‑through)
* Inform planning processes such as quarterly business reviews and sales planning
* Ensure the Operations & Visual team reflects ALO’s mission and guiding principles, communicating our values to visitors
* Lead the team through accountability and continuous coaching, talent development, and effective communication
* Establish internal and external recruitment pipeline through succession planning and strategy
* Write effective schedules that prioritize the best business strategy in partnership with the General Manager
Business Partner
* Oversee delivery of the ALO Sales and Service Model, protecting operational efficiency
* Collaborate and implement the General/Store Manager’s vision, working cross‑functionally with business partners to support organizational goals
* Demonstrate ability to navigate the organization balancing business needs and brand culture
QUALIFICATIONS
* 3–5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience
* Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
* Agile and able to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment
* Highly motivated to drive business in a fast‑paced, innovative environment
* Business‑owner mindset with entrepreneurial spirit
* Independent work ethic, strong time‑management skills, and personal accountability
* Alignment with and embodiment of ALO’s guiding principles
* Senior level: Mid‑Senior
* Proof of right to live and work in country from start of employment
Schedule
The role is full‑time, 40 hours per week over five days. Employees are expected to be available for opening, closing and weekend shifts as needed.
